  • Do the locking items come with a key, or do I need to buy one?

    Yes, every locking item comes with a hex screwdriver and extra screws. We also offer replacement key sets that come with two Allen keys and four extra screws if you want an extra set, as well as extra screwdrivers and a master key if you need a little something more.
  • Do your stainless steel collars contain any nickel or silver?

    We use premium quality stainless steel that allows our products to remain durable and brilliant, and they do contain about 10% - 14% nickel. Our collars do not contain any silver.   • How much do your collars weight?

    It depends on size, but our typical stainless steel collar weighs around 5 to 6 ounces and our titanium collars weigh around 3 to 4 ounces.
  • How much lighter are the titanium collars from the stainless steel collars?

    Generally speaking, our titanium collars are about 40% - 45% lighter than the regular stainless steel collars, equal to about 2 to 3 ounces depending on the size. This is about the same percentage on the anklets and cuffs as well.
  • How thick are your collars and cuffs?

    Our collars, cuffs and anklets are made in both a 8mm (.3125 inches) or 5mm (.19685 inches) thickness. Availabile thicknesses will vary between types, styles, or sizes.
  • What are your gold items coated with?

    We use a medical-grade Titanium Nitride on most of our items, although we may also use Zirconium Carbon Nitride.   • What grade of stainless steel do you use?

    We use a 316 marine-grade stainless steel, which is commonly used for biomedical implants and considered a surgical grade stainless steel. This grade does contain about 10% - 14% nickel and does not contain any silver.
  • What grade titanium do you use?

    All of our titanium items are made from Grade 5 Titanium which has an excellent combination of strength, corrosion resistance, and biocompatibility. In addition to titanium, this grade is also comprised of 6% aluminum, 4% vanadium, and up to 0.25% iron.
  • Why is my stainless steel chain magnetic? I thought stainless steel was not supposed to be magnetic.

    Our stainless steel chains and some of the fasteners we use (like the screws in the collars) are made using a cold forming, or cold working, process.
