We use a medical-grade Titanium Nitride on most of our items, although we may also use Zirconium Carbon Nitride. Both finishes are very durable and bio compatible while very closely resembling the look of real 18k Gold.
We have coated them in pure 18K gold in the past but found the finish did not tend to hold up as well as with daily or prolonged wear.
